Minnie Lee Triplett Scholarship

In honor of my mother Minnie Lee Triplett:

I created the Minnie Lee Triplett Scholarship because I wanted to honor my mother and the hard work she put in to raising her children and others that were in need of her help.  She was tough as nails and would fight to the end for what was right!  My mother loved children that wanted to learn because she knew that a quality education gave them a fighting chance at success in life.  I felt that the most honorable thing I could do as her son would be to create a scholarship in her name that would symbolize the values that she would often say to me.   She would often tell me, "Baby you're smart, you're a fighter, you never give up, and you always find a way."  So when times get tough for me I always refer back to that statement and I go on fighting!  This year two young ladies will have the honor to be MLT Scholars and I pray that they will carry those values within them!  "Be Smart, Be a Fighter, Never Give Up, and Always Find A Way!" Be a MLT Scholar! Thank you for applying!
